Zoom clutch install

I am installing a zoom clutch kit. The clutch has two surfaces one looks solid without any breaks in the material, it is light brown color.

The other side of the clutch has a more traditional looking gray/black material, looks like the old clutch.

question is which side faces the flywheel and which side faces the pressure plate?

Re: Zoom clutch install

was able to answer my own question at zoomclutch.com

the light brown side is kevlar and faces the flywheel

the other side is normal clutch material, faces the pressure plate

Re: Zoom clutch install

update - their web page lies

the only way this setup will work is with kevlar facing the pressure plate which is opposite of what the document says. so i installed it the only way it will fit.

will follow up when i road test this setup
