Rough Vibrations! Need Help!

Today i had replaced the transmission mount and crossmember(the old mount separated) w/ a Energy Suspension mount and UMI crossmember. Everything went in fine, raised the tranny a little bit to get room and swapped in stuff and was good.

So i took it for a drive and now there are vibrations at higher RPMs right before every shift! The fly wheel does have a few teeth chewed up so could it be my flywheel(always been chewed up)? Did i lift the tranny up too far? When i raised tranny a lil, did starter come off flywheel a lil bit? The vibrations had just begun after replacing the member n mount! Is my daily driver, work alot so dont have time to take it to performance shop!

So what is calling these vibrations??? Please help.

Re: Rough Vibrations! Need Help!

i have read where the Energy Suspension mount raises the tranny a bit and could cause the pinion gear to change angle. But why would an poly mount cause vibrations?

Re: Rough Vibrations! Need Help!

More extreme angles on the u joints probably. You could try sawpping back to rubber mount and check for vibrations.

Re: Rough Vibrations! Need Help!

Thanks! That's what is was, was that Energy mount! Switched back to stock rubber(dont like it) mount, and it stopped all vibrations! Thank You!
