I am going to be receiving a trans go shift kit from Dana at Pro Built.
I have never done any transmission work and would like to find some one in the Fort Wayne area that could install the kit. I am looking to learn and want to be involved in the install. Anybody out there willing to teach me.

Transgo has a video that shows how to shift kit a 700R4. It's on their website and you can view it online.

Always use the written instructions over the video instructions, if there any differences between them. The written instructions are constantly being updated, and the video is not.

 

Anybody wanting to install this shift kit? How much would you charge?

 

Ha, I'm in the middle of this install myself, just tore the transmission completely out to get after a stuck 1/2 servo cover. Tried EVERYTHING to free it wont budge. Should have the transmission out completely by the end of today. Hope you have better luck. (Yes I'm aware of the o'ring and the clip retainer that holds the whole assembly).
