I'm out in the weather on this project.It's cold and raining.I put a V6 into a rs that had a v8 taken out.I used my engine harness ecm tranny crossmember and mount,v6 motor mounts,driveshaft,tv cable and so on.I did not use the cable that conected to the gear selector.I've got most of the drive line all hooked up.I went to put the car back in park from N. and it didnt feal like it locked in.So I run it down and it wouldnt go any further than drive.I don't know much about this body.But the engine and tranny were working fine when I pulled them out of my sons rearended firebird.Can the selecor cable be hooked up that far out of its proper location.don't seam like it.The tranny needs fluid but I'm not running the engine.I just had to turn the driveshaft a little to get the u joint to line up in the rear end.Also to turn the flywheel on the v8 to disconect the tranny from the block.anyone got any advise on this one
