compatible with fourth gen??

Is my 1991 RS T5 compatible with one for a fourth gen? I need to get some money up since I totaled my car and someone wants the trans, trans mount, and front struts but isn't sure if they are compatible.

Re: compatible with fourth gen??

Most people swap a T56 from a fourth gen over to a third gen... I sense fitment issues.

Re: compatible with fourth gen??

You haven't been here long, but there are a LOT of threads about using a V6 T5 and the differences. Most cover the bellhousing / trans. bolt pattern (it's different) and some cover the input shaft length differences (it's different too.) So... no.
