My trans is not shifting....goes from first to second then goes into limp mode i believe. Down to the stopsign and back shifted to second and stays in second on the way back. I can switch it off and wait 30 sec and crank it back up and it does the same thing.Checked the codes and showes a bad CTS but I replaced both and still cant clear the code.I replaced both speed sensors and trans fluid and filter...Plz help!!! This is the only thing making me want to sell my truck and get rid of it all.

well I replaced both shift solenoids and still no luck.....shifts from first to second then stays in second. I got the solenoid codes to clear but im still getting code 24 which is VSS!!! I replaced both of them and its still throwing this code. I checked the wires and fixed some hack work but still no go?!?!? CODE 24 CODE 24 CODE 24....HELP

 

If you already replaced the VSS, then check the wiring for it.

 

I already have. The wiring was spliced and I fixed that
