So, I'm replacing my flex plate.. by myself.

I need to know how to get the last two bolts off my bell housing.

I did some research and someone said to take off the distributor cap. Great and all, but how do I do that.

Did some more research and the ehow bull crap said I have to take my water pump and harmonic balancer off. Yeah.. Im definitely not doing that right now and I need to get this transmission off ASAP that's

I work two jobs, barely have any time to do this, that's why I'm doing it now. Would have most likely been able to do it today but yeah called into work.

So as you can see, extremely busy (yes I know everyone is :P) but I really could use the help.

Main question: How can I get these last two bolts out. Do I really have to move the distributor or is there another way around this.

Any and all help will be greatttttly appreciated.

If you don't know how to take the dist cap off, or can't look at it and figure it out, a flex plate job is probably not a real good idea.

Those 2 top bolts are the EASIEST ones to get to... you just stand there next to the car, lean over with a SHORT 9/16" combo wrench, and pop em right out.

I'd suggest however, that you put the 2 bottom-most ones back in before taking those out; makes them totally a piece of cake, because then you won't have the weight of the trans tying to fall out of the car, that you're trying to unscrew them against.

Then, take 2 LONG bolts, like about 5" long; and put them in the 2 bolt holes right above the 2 bottom ones. That way, you can just slide the trans back far enough to get a combo wrench up into the BH to get to the flex plate bolts without having to remove the trans from the car.
