700r4 question
Will a 700r4 with the transgo 2-3 shift kit be strong enough to handle a rebuilt 350? (355 actually) I'm not sure of the torque/horsepower because it hasn't been put in a car since being rebuilt so no dyno's, but can anyone let me know if they have done something similar to this? I want a 5-speed but i have a $ and time budget

Re: 700r4 question
most likely, 700's came behind plenty of 350 cars if set up right anyway (tv system)

Re: 700r4 question
I'm not really sure yet, that's the problem, its an engine from my girlfriends brother that he's gonna show me tonight, he's into the old Chevy trucks so he's got plenty of engines, I can't imagine that it's a complete performance build considering he built it for a truck, I'm thinking it's a low rpm machine
