Axle/Gears: Stock
T-56?

i have a 91 camaro rs, 305TBI. is it possible to put a t-56 from an lt1 engine behind my 5.0, or are the input shafts all wrong? would i be better off finding a t-5? my car was originally automatic, but i am wanting to convert it over to preferably 6 speed

Agreed! The t56 swap is as popular as underwear! Do a search and the internet will practically put it in the car for you!

Besides searching the quick answer is yes. An LT1 flywheel, clutch, and tranny will bolt right up to your 91 305.

I wish I could get the internet to do it for me. lol

Read the T56 swap thread (sticky) for real good pictures and step by step instructions. Very informative. Also look at the link showing the parts and some idea of costs that is in there.
