drive shaft help!!

Doing engine swap, from a 2.8 to a 350, the 2.8 has a 700r4. The 350 will have a 700r4, my question is will i need a new drive shaft or are they the same size?

4 the trans? No. 4 the motor? no. you will need to move the Kmember motor mounts to diff holes.

Everything will come together just fine. Like TTOP said the motor mounts are the only thing that move.

Re: drive shaft help!!

In the process of moving the motor mounts you will probably need to rebend brake lines slightly, should be no problem. I am putting in a V8 and T56 and can reuse my driveshaft and motor mounts, after moving, but need a new transmission crossmember (T56 mount is further back). When I do the swap I will pull front coil springs to have better access to motor mount bolts inside the K member and for replacement.
