Clutch fork issues

Bought a new clutch fork, and then the little stud or hold down retainer for the metal clip or whatever is called popped clean off. i mean, WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW?!? I have been at this for four days now, and then this happened. i have the original fork, but it has a very tiny grove/lip near the pivot ball point. should i just use the new one? or i that to dangerous? or should i use the old one with the tiny lip on it?

please, any body respond fast!

Re: Clutch fork issues

Just going to have the tab/stud welded back on, since that was how it was created...and i will have the old one repaired to so that i can have two of them in case what one breaks. hope that this is right.

Re: Clutch fork issues

if the new fork is okay and the spring clip is okay, have a place that re-lines brakes and clutches (for big trucks usually) put a new rivet in.
