I'm planning on doing a T56 swap on a 1989 Formula 'Bird that had a T-5. Looking for someone in W. Michigan that did the swap that would be willing to let me look at what they did.


I've always preferred looking at the real thing over pictures. PM me if you'd be willing to let me look at your trans install. I'm located about 10 min. from Muskegon.

 

Come east MI its a few guys did it on 305s too my buddy was doing 1 on a iroc but had to stop to do his 98 ls2 ws6 he got anther 98 trans am and swapping it over

 

Thanks for the reply. When I ended up looking at the two vehicles I was considering, the one with the auto was a better candidate for a project (for me, anyway). I'm swapping a 350 TPI into it (has a bad 305 motor now). I ended up with more for my money this way. I hope to do a T-56 swap in the future, but for now, I'll stick with this.
