Engine braking feel
what would make the car feel like its engine braking when letting off the gas at high speeds??

is one of your calipers sticking as that could be why as Ive never heard of a car engine braking before.

Sort of.... not much though.
Make sure you dont have a sticking caliper or you've left your e-brake on or something like that, though. True engine braking will be more pronounced at high RPMs than high speeds. say 5000 RPMs with the throttle closed vs 2000 RPMs with the throttle closed. One will be a lot more dramatic. Shorter gear ratios will lead to higher RPMs at the same speed.
