Car vibration when pushing in clutch 70MPH+

My car has a bad road vibration when going high speed and pushing the clutch in. This is the only time it occurs. It's fine when I'm accelerating, coasting, or braking. I noticed my aluminum driveshaft has a groove worn into it, looks like at some point it was rubbing on the rear driveshaft loop. Do you think this could be the cause?
