which do we have 27 or 30 spline?

 

im not sure. do you have the trans out of the car already? if you do, your gonna want to count the splines on the turbine shaft. the one sticking out the furthest. sorry i dont have a definite answer for ya.

 

The year will tell you what it should be. 1982 - mid 1984 is the 27 spline. All transmissions after that are 30 spline. If you have the year 1984 you will need to measure the diameter of the input shaft. The .890" (+-.005") is a 27 spline. The .990" (+-.005") is a 30 spline. I prefer the Edge over the Monster TC's anyday. Better quality TC's and they come with a two year warranty. Let me know if I can be of help here.
