sequential shifter question

ok a while back i watched a toyota supra in-car drag video and noticed that when he shifted he did not use a clutch and after doing some research i found out that it was a sequential shift system which allows you do up-shift or down-shift by simply pushing forward or backward on the shifter and i've been looking for one for my car and i havent found any discussions like this so my question is: do they make one for a 700r4?
if you know or have a website link that sells them please post them
btw if it is neccessary that you have to know my car specs i have a 25th anniversary edition 1992 camaro rs it has a 305 tbi engine, 700R4 transmission and is an automatic, thanks for reading

Re: sequential shifter question

for an auto, its called a manual valve body. Not something to bother with on the street. You can get manual/auto valve bodies that allow to to manually shift, or put it in D and have auto shifting

for a manual trans, its a bit different and the trans has to be built specially for this purpose, its not a simple add on.

Re: sequential shifter question

Look up trans-go or B&M shift kits for a 700r4 trans. You can get them to shift harder and manual shift depending on what you want. Some say the Trans-go is better, but then that's what i use so Im a little biased i guess. And by the way, a harder shifting trans. is actually better for the trans. than a slipping smooth shifting one.
