I have a 92 Camaro Z28 L98. The only mod at all is a shift kit that the previous owner had installed. Other than that she is bone stock. I have heard some people on here saying how they can't be in fourth gear at WOT. They say it will downshift on them and I have also heard that this was standard on some models with the 700r4. I know I have a shift kit so maybe the PO changed something to where it won't happen anyway. But because I don't like to be rough with the old girl and don't want to take her up to fourth gear at wot, I'm wondering, could my car in stock form be able to enter and maintain fourth gear at wot?

 

Very possibly, being a Z28 with the L98 engine. Did it come factory equipped with Z rated tires? If so then no speed limiter either.
