TH350/Cooler Plumbing?

I understand top line on the trans is return and bottom is feed but I am interested in running to an aftermarket cooler (vertical feed/return port; imagine top is return and bottom is feed). What if I want to tie into the radiator's trans cooler as well? Is it worth while or not?

Double checking, top trans line to top cooler line, correct?

I'm getting ready to put my cooler in too.

I found a thread on hotrodders that said it goes from the top rad line, to the bottom of the cooler, and then from the top of the cooler to the trans return line. Makes sense because the fluid flows from bottom to top in the radiator to begin with.

Re: TH350/Cooler Plumbing?

thanks kinda thought that but wanted to make sure. Think it's necessary to run it to the radiator cooler then to a aftermarket cooler with a 2,200-2,400 stall or just strait from trans to aftermarket cooler?

Re: TH350/Cooler Plumbing?

That depends on your combo, and what Trans cooler you have, but in most cases the factory cooler should be used too.
