I have just changed the fluid on the car, as I bought it knowing that it didnt go backwards. The fluid was totally black, and there was silver slime over the magnet in the pan.
The car now goes backwards more than it did before. About a foot, before it seems to slip.
The car has done 189000 miles, and I think that was probably the original oil!!
Is it likely I need a rebuild, or should I flush the oil through again and see if it could be a blockage etc?
Any help appreciated
