i want to get a shifter that would work with a 700R4 transmission cause i think thats what i have not really sure. i heard these http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrai...FQf0nAodER0APA work with the 700r4. Does it work without much problem or can i use this?

They make a console version of the megashifter also. It includes new metal brackets, trim plate, indicator selection, and shifter boot. That may be a better choice. That being said they install fairly easy. They should also come with a new shifter cable bracket and a new cable. The oem ones won't work without modification. You also need to wire up the neutral switch and reverse lighting but thats not hard. I've done it a few times now.
