I need help with drum to disk swap.
I need help with drum to disk swap.
i have a 1987 Firbird 305 TPI 700r4 Drum disk rear end.
i want to swap in a 1985 z28 3.43 gear rear disk break set up i found online (CL). i have searched around a bit and i couldn't find much. i was wondering what i have to do to get the breaks working properly. will it pretty much all bolt up? i do know i have to go get the good set of calipers i saw at the junk yard
. should i grab anything else?
i m sure i can snag the parts for the job
Also are there any variation of caliper type?

Check the 10-bolt FAQ sticky above for info on master cylinders, combination valves, parking brake cables, caliper types an so on.
Since the swap is common a search should provide a wealth of information. Good luck with your project.
