Anybody know where to buy new axle c clips? Summit racing seems to be back ordering everything diff related these days. They are saying May 5th to ship, bad enough that they aren't shipping the axles (kit doesn't include c clips) until April 24th. GM says the c clips are discontinued (like everything else GM for third gens). This is a 92 Camaro 10 bolt non-posi 28 spline.

The 3rd gen uses the same c clips as all other 7.5 rear ends in S trucks, 4th gen Camaros and anything else with that rear end. GM should have them.

Don't get rear end parts through Summit or Jeg's. Go to someone who deals in rear ends every day. Tom's Differentials or Randy's Ring & Pinion are MUCH better places to get rear end parts.

Ok, so dumb mistake on my part. I ordered a pair on Ebay. The listing said 10 available and it said I would get the parts between tomorrow and Friday. So, I ordered 2. I got an order confirmation that came from Summit Racing confirming my Ebay order and saying it was back ordered. So, Summit Racing is selling on Ebay and mis-leading/mis-representing the availability of parts. I don't think I will be ordering from them anymore and will certainly watch out for them on Ebay.

 

Summit has been selling on eBay for several years now. They even have their own storefront on there. You should be able to file a complaint with eBay and PayPal and get your money back.

 

Whats wrong with used ones from the JY? If you dont mind my asking...
