B&M Mega Shifter Relay #275-206

Does anyone have a picture of how the relay is mounted inside of their center console with the B&M Mega Shifter? I want to solder in the wires but I dont know where to mount the relay since it does not come with a base/connector. Here is the relay below....

What is the relay for and why does it have to mounted in the console?

Looks a pretty generic industrial style relay ; prob Radio Shack would have the base for it

It's from RadioShack. They don't have the base either. This relay is used to cut and reconfigure the Nuetral Safety Switch as well as the Reverse Lockout Switch too.

Page 4 has the relay diagram.

Use some Velcro to mount the relay in the console

I was thinking about doing the same thing. But with "in car temps" hovering around 115* in the summer, I don't think the adhesive would do a very good job maintaining its position.

I'm sure you can figure out a place to zip tie it to than, the wires come from under the dash so the relay can be relocated and does not need to be in the center console.

Seems overly complicated
I had no problems running my starter wiring through the B&M micro switch
and had no problems with the P/N indication (org / blk wire ) to the ECM being disconnected.
It only changes the idle revs by 50-100 RPM ? (TP will know how much) anyway and if you have a non stock setup with a cam most likely you will have a higher idle programmed anyway
