Transmission: automatic 700r4
Axle/Gears: 410 gears
700r issue?

theres a 4 prong plug inlet on my transmission but i cannot find a 4 prong plug on my wiring harness. i can post pics if necessary but any suggestions. i have a 91 rs and im putting a 350 and 700r in.

After research I found out its for the torque converter lock up? Is this something that should be on my wiring harness or no?

Do I even.need this plugged in to safely drive the car? I keep.finding older posts here on the board where people are saying don't plug in just keep it out of the way.

this guy says no lock up is needed.

true? and will it function correctly without it?
