Shift cable grief.

Not sure if this is the right forum or not..

My shifter has been giving me alot or problems going into park. Today, the cable popped under the console (lucky I was pulling into my driveway).

The thing is, the shifter cable was replaced already.

I'm not sure if the problem is the quality of the part or it wasn't installed and adjusted right.

edit:: sorry forgot to add it's a 92 RS with a 305 700R4

Gonna try NAPA for a better quality part.

Re: Shift cable grief.

FWIW the Dorman and the ATP are the exact same crap part, I've had both. The ATP is currently still hanging in there after a couple months. These things have become a 'service item', like plugs or filters.
