Hey guys, i just put in a new trans in my LG4 car. I bought it with a bad trans, now i pulled the 305/700r4 out of my wifes car as im doing an LT1 swap, the trans ran fine and shifted great other than the OD solenoid acting up sometimes. I put a S10 converter in it to give me a higher stall (2000rpm or so since it will be modded down the road) and it feels like the converter is not locking up sometimes, and sometimes feels like it slips into 2nd gear. I never drove the car before as it wouldnt go over 20mph (no 3rd or 4th) does this sound like bad converter or electrical? The car is bone stock and believe it has 2.xx gears in it.

 

Slipping into second= check 1-2 accumulator spring, probably broken. Intermittent lock = check wiring, probably shorting, probably pinched during swap.

 

Thanks, someone hacked the wiring up on it pretty good so i wouldnt be surprised.
