T5 Clutch Fork Boot/Linkage Question
T5 Clutch Fork Boot/Linkage Question
I'm replacing the clutch fork boot on an 89 RS with a T-5 transmission. The old one was all dried out and broken so I just pulled it off as you can see in the picture. Anyway how in the world do I get that linkage apart so I can slide the new one over the fork and into the transmission? I don't see how it comes apart?

Re: T5 Clutch Fork Boot/Linkage Question
The pushrod is only held against the fork by friction. The easiest way to do it is unbolt the slave cylinder from the bellhousing.
