Transmission has a coworker and I stumped.

A little back ground first.car is a 1990 Camaro RS tbi 305. has the 700r4. We rebuilt the trans last week using a B&M trans kit.. I took it out for a test run and everything was fine for about 5 mins. Shifted fine 1-2-3-od. Stopped at a light and went to take off and nothing. Selector was in od. just free revs. took it back apart to make sure all the parts were in the right location. Still not working right. I replaced the forward sprag because it was shot. I mad sure its in right. it spins clockwise while in the case. took it out for a spin still no od and nothing from a stop. I put it in drive and have 1-2-3. I put it into od while moving and it wanted to come to a complete stop. i am stumped along with a coworker. can some one help me please.

Re: Transmission has a coworker and I stumped.

Definitely sounds like you still have a forward sprag issue.
