So theres fluid on my garage floor and i already had an oil leak cause my oil pan is rusty but there was a second pool and i dabbed some paper towel and it was like reddish pink so thats gotta be the tranny , wasn't able to really get under my car but i was able to jack it up enough to slide my ipad under n take a look around with video and i have some pics . Do you guys think its the rear seal and how hard is it to change it yourself ? Thinking bout getting some ramps anyway so if i can do it myself ill check

The most likely points for leaking fluid in a 700R4 is the rear seal, pan seal, and the dipstick tube seal. The front seal is also notorious for leaking but that would be seen on the flywheel cover. A rear seal can be replaced; the drive shaft has to be removed. If you're not comfortable with that or don't have the space(apartment parking), take it to a trans shop.

Looks like your speedo cable is leaking. Needs a new bullet or O ring.

All those little leaks are part of the GM under body anti corrosion package.
Without them id have a pile of rust and not a car in the salt belt.

Really? Naw Im def leaking something though, but can the differential fluid leak up there ? sorry if thats a noob question lol but i did check the tranny fluid while idling and it was full mayb it may be something to do with the speedo cable or the o ring . Is it easy to replace by myself? I seen some other youtube videos on rwd cars and they jus bolt off , is it the same for us?
