1987 Firebird LG4 5spd hard to shift
1987 Firebird LG4 5spd hard to shift
Hello,
Have an issue with 1987 LG4 5 speed Firebird. Issue as is follows:
Clutch was replaced over a year ago and car has been sitting. Sometime clutch seems to chatter a little when letting out clutch in first or backing up. After car is driven a while and gets hot shifting to 1st and 2nd can be very difficult and remaining gears aren't that great either. My son recalls it being easier to shift in the past.
Thinking it may be following;
May be slave or master cylinder or possibly linkage as it seems to bind a bit as well. Any suggests to what this may be?
Thanks for your help.
