TH400- possible 3rd gear issue?
Not sure what this issue is, i am not even sure its tranny related but noticed it only happening in 3rd gear.
Went to the track last night and could only make 2 passes before had to leave. First pass spun on launch so throw away. But when I went 2-3 shift, the motor rpm pulled down hard. Like motor died. So I let off immediately.
Next pass was much better. Hooked on launch. First gear felt good, second gear felt good. Went to 3rd and immediately motor rpm pulled down hard, power completely felt cut out so I let off immediately.
Its weird because if I leave it in 3rd, and go WOT on the street, it seems fine.
Any ideas what this may be? Is it even a transmission problem?

Sprag failure. Pull the pan and see if there's any hard parts in it.

Sprag failure? Wouldnt that effect all gears?
Just went 2-3 on the street trying to recreate it and no issues. I dont understand how its fine on street and at the track it has this issue?
Possibly too hot on the brake?
