Re: cam
April Fools Day was yesterday!
Is this a real question?
The LS1 is a V8 engine, the 2.8L is a V6 engine... Forget all the other probs, the LS1 cam is too long to fit inside the 2.8L engine. 1/4 of the lenght of the cam would be sticking out the front of the engine.
The 2.8L has 2 valves per cylinder (12 valves).. so it has 12 lobes on the cam
The LS1 has 2 valves per cylinder (16 valves)... so it has 16 lobes on the cam
No, it will not work, No you can not mod it to work
