4th gen master, 3rdgen pedals bushing
What are my options? The 4th one doesn't fit and I destroyed it trying to make it fit...

Did your 84 have a T5 to start?
Getting the master cylinder in place so the u-bolt lines up and goes into the firewall takes practice and patience.
Sometimes having a helper to direct which way the parts need to move (or move the parts while you view from the interior) in order for it to fit is a good thing.

Go to your local ace hardware. You need a delrin or plastic bushing with an outer diameter that matches the ID of the 4th gen master.
Then you need to drill the bushing out so it matches the diameter of the peg.
Once you've done that you need to put a washer on the peg with a diameter larger than the master to hold it I place and lock it with the clip.
