How much will my speedo be off with the wrong driven gear?
I'm getting a T5 that was in a TBI with an L3 engine I believe. I think it was a 3.08 ratio. My car is a 3.27. I was able to find a 7 tooth blue drive gear, as there is a 9 tooth red one on there now. As you all know there are no VSS driven gears anymore. I'm supposed to have an 18 tooth, but I think this T5 will probably have a 21 tooth. Is this going to set my speedo way out?

do some math... you need your final gear ratio and tire size to figure out your final drive ratio, then you divide the tooth counts on your drive and driven gears to get your speedometer ratio. divide those two numbers and you will know how far off you will be.
