Can clutch master cylinder push rod be removed?

Hey folks. Anyone know if the clutch master cylinder pushrod can be removed so i can leave everything in place? I'd like to just pull the rod so I can modify the length
I have the t56 hydrolic with the third gen pedals. The height of the clutch pedal is super annoying

There should be a snap ring, but to access it you probably have to remove the master from the car.
If there is enough extra thread, shortening the pushrod in place may be possible, I just did this to a non-third-gen, but you may need to remove the pedal to do it. Modifying the pedal arm may be an alternative.
Been too long since I did a clutch pedal in a third-gen.

The stock master can be made adjustable by cutting the rod, threading it and installing a rod end from the hardware store.
