Replacing TV calbe

on a 700R4. Any suggestions as to what to expect? One guy told me I had to drop the pan, another said I didn't. And someone else said I'll have to drop the rear of the tranny down. I'm just trying to get a feel for how long this is going to take, and how much of a pain in my butt it's gonna be.

Ive done it before on my car.
You dont need to drop the tranny or pan.

It is a BIG pain in the ***, becuz you cant see it, only feel it.

And its real hard to line up the hook thing that grabs the line inside the trans, thats not hard, but when you tighten the bolt(only 1) it tends to try and wiggle out.
Its also a bitch to get a ratchet in there.
Just have paitence and you will get it done.
