Rebuilt 700r4 shift issue

Rebuilt 700r4 shift issue
Ok I rebuilt this 700r4 it's late model with auxiliary valve body trans works perfect every day for first 4 hours of driving then won't shift out of first gear. What would be the cause of this problem? I put all new seals,bushings,frictions,steels,bands and torque converter. Could it be governor? Or is transmission overheating after 4 hours
