I've been reading this stuff for 2 days and my head is spinning. I just got a 94 t56 and was planning on using 3rd gen pedals and master but 4 gen line and slave. But I've also read that some setups cause the fork to contact the pp. Is this one of them?
I'd like to keep my 3rd gen pedals. I've also read using a cavalier slave works too. Can someone please clarify what I should do. Thanks in advance

Think of it this way:
100% 1994 parts should work fine. As to what you should do, this is a valid option.
Going with 84-92 pedals, which have a longer throw, means the fork may be moved too much.
A Cavalier slave with a larger bore will take more fluid and move less.
So that's one way to use third gen pedals and prevent the problem.
So you should use 4th gen pedals. Or you should keep your third gen pedals and run the Cavalier slave cylinder.

I was supposed to get a set of 4 gen pedals but turned them down since I read somewhere that third gen pedals were the way to go.
I have the 4 gen line but how would I connect it to the cavalier slave?
Does the cavalier slave have a bleeder?
