Hello,
Main question is will it bolt up ok? I plan to buy a 1988 350 flywheel for my new stroker engine. Before everyone goes crazy I've had a 400hp 355ci bolted up to this T5 for 10 years now and it has done fine. With the one-piece rear main seal, will it bolt up to my non-WC T5 or is there a spacer or adapter I need to buy.
Thanks!

The NWC T5 will bolt directly in place of any WC t5.
Thanks Midias! Looks like we had a similar engine setup in our cars.
Just wanted to check and make sure I could use my existing pressure plate and there wouldn't be any spacing/clearance issues due to a different stack-up.

I did forget to say that they both have to be V8 transmissions. The V6 one is different. I swapped my NWC V8 T5 for a WC T5 using the same driveshaft, and clutch, bell housing and flywheel setup no issues.
While you have it out dont forget to swap the inner drive gear for the speedo if you need to

Yes, mine is a L69 car. You swapped into an older '79 block which is like what I had with my 355 flat tappet motor.
I am going to a 86-newer type block now (377 stroker) with one-piece rear main seal and roller lifters. Are we on the same page here? Sounds like will mate up the same, but is the area for the pressure plate and throw-out bearing the same (from flywheel to shifter fork)? Thanks for your time.

Everything is the same. Obviously you'll need a flywheel with the different crank bolt pattern; but other than that, everything else will just bolt up.
If your going ext balanced you might want to research another flywheel or get one of these.
