Trans-Go Stage 2, Vette Servo, .500 TV and .300 Reverse valves
I have my trans out to do a converter swap, probably throwing it back in this weekend.
Can anyone that has these parts installed in a street car comment on the low/part throttle characteristics?
Was thinking of ordering the Trans-Go kit, Stage 2, with their 1-2 servo, their .500 TV valve, and their .300 Reverse valve with bushing.
Looking for good firm shifts under throttle, but I would rather not have the thing bang into gears upshifting during normal driving.
Car is not a daily driver, but I don't take it to the track either. I do occasionally commute with it in the summer. Mostly just for causing trouble on the weekends
Thanks.

And in addition to this, is there any other recommended maintenance / adjustment I can do easily while I am installing the shift kit? Band adjustments, etc?

My recommendation (as well as just about anyone who's ever worked with him) is to contact Dana at ProBuilt Automatics. This is his bread and butter and he can\will build a kit that will do what you need it to do.

I took my Mom out for a ride after it went in. She liked it. (Women universally hate hard shifting cars) Then I took my Dad out for a ride in it. He said it shifted great. He's an old hot rodder who loves fast cars. This version of the TransGo has such a wide range of feel, all depending on how you drive.

I have the street/strip version of the TransGo that ProBuilt Automatics sells. What you're looking for is exactly what this kit does. It's easily daily driveable, yet shifts faster and firmer the more gas pedal you give. No bang shift at any speeds.

I already have the parts in hand. Got the Transgo 700-2-3 kit, the Vette servo, and the TV and Reverse pistons/valves, all Transgo parts.

TBH I'd have a quick chat w Dana anyway. He may have one last small thing or two to recommend...do it once & do it perfect is my thought.
Re: Trans-Go Stage 2, Vette Servo, .500 TV and .300 Reverse valves
I add the TransGo Junior to the TransGo 700-2-3 to get the smooth part throttle shifts and quick WOT shifts from the 700-2-3. I do other things to get even more durability here.

Re: Trans-Go Stage 2, Vette Servo, .500 TV and .300 Reverse valves
Just dropped the pan to pull the valve body. There was no filter!!!!! fluid is clean, looks like someone must have did a change and then either forgot the filter, or had one that didn't clear the pan, and said screw it, and threw it back together with no filter. I'm surprused I never had any issues with fluid delivery since it had to pull directly from the opening where the filter should have been, up pretty high...
79,000 miles, shifted and ran great so far, I've only owned it for a few months (Sept 2017)..
Also found someone already put in the corvette 2-4 servo, I pulled it out to swap it and it was already oversized.
Pulling the valve body today once it's almost done dripping. Wonder what else I might find in here....
DCLF converter is installed. Trans is back on the engine. Wish me luck here, I might need it.

You musta been stoked to fix that oversight before any problems developed! Another + is how cheap those servos are. You can use your extra as a beer coaster lol

Yeah exactly what I told my wife, it's a good thing I decided to do a fluid and filter change with the converter, and then that spiraled into a full shift kit. Bands look good from that little spot where you can see them up next to the valve body. Fluid is nice and red when it was draining, though it looks pretty damn dark now that it's in the pan....
No burnt smell so that is great.
