Car: 1988 Trans Am GTA
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.70
9 bolt pinion seal install

I disassembled my rear end a while ago and just want to make sure that I put the seal in the right direction. Does the side with the spring face forward or aft?

Thank you. That is what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. Looks like it is all back together and not leaking. Will find out later this week after I schedule my inspection and can drive it around.
