So i have a 2002 WS6 with T-56. Driving one day and downshifted to 3rd and gas it a little hard and shifted to 4th and let up. Went to down shift and found it could not get 1 3 5 R, very sloppy. I will get 2 4 6. It is not the shift stops because it will let shifter go all the way and touch surrounding console

If not those something is internally busted time to pull and check it out. Or at least pull the shifter and look

 

Well I thought shift stops from reading other post, will only allow the shifter to move a short limited amount of travel and not let it engauge. My shifter is allow to go full range until the console stops it. Very slushy or sloppy. I also played around with it last night and now it won't go into 2 4 6 either. Well not consistently. Now when i do manage to get it to go into 1 3 5 R it drives fine!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The Youtube link, i've seen. This guy can only move his shifter about maybe half an inch, mine goes way past full range and more!!!!!!

 

Sounds like something is broken or loose in your shift lever or linkage I would remove it and check it out
