TC lockup switch???

how much improvement in my quater mile time can i really expect to see with this mod and when would i engage it during the run. ALso how MUCH stress does this put on the trans and torque converter thanks in advance.

Do you really think you need lockup in the quarter mile? Seems a little foolish to me. You only need lockup on the highway to save gas. It was never meant to be used for more speed.
I hear what your saying, when lockup is applied its a one to one ratio with the engine and transmission so the possibility for more speed is there (theoreticly).
This was only meant to be used to lower the rpm by a few hundred and to keep the converter and tranny cooler. Besides, when the computer senses you nailing it shuts it off.
