What detent cable do I use on a 700r4 mine look like this one in pic

Go to User CP and enter you car year, model, and other details about the engine.
A 700-R4 uses a Throttle Valve cable, and the trans. end fits multiple different GM transmissions.
The engine end of the cable is specific to a 4bbl application, or TPI, or TBI.
So it depends on the details you left out,
