Engine turns but flywheel does not

I recently picked up a 1986 z28 with a swapped engine (350 carb). It hasnt been started in years, and when I tried turning it over it seemed like the starter wouldn't fully engage the flywheel. So I tried cranking the engine with a ratchet to see if it would rotate and it turned reasonably easily. However, when i checked the flywheel after I cranked the engine a few more rotations, I noticed it hadn't moved at all. What would cause this??

Broken flywheel bolts, or broken crankshaft.

Yes and either one of these will require engine removal. Stock cast crank shafts can only hold up to so much power.
