Car: 1987 GTA

Engine: 350 TPI w/ extras !

Transmission: 700R4

Governor cover

My 700r4 trans isn't shifting properly so I took the governor out to check it and it all seems fine. Managed to get it back in but can I hell get the cover tapped back in place properly. There's just a serious lack or room to get a good few taps all around it to get it back in place from under the car

Any tips ??
