Bell Housing Question

Working on an 84 Z28. Looking for a bell housing, and I wanted to verify if there are any differences between the bell housings for a hydraulic clutch vs a mechanical clutch.

Thanks.
Kevin

Re: Bell Housing Question

They are not only different, but non-interchangeable.

The hyd one has the big flange thing to bolt the slave to. The mech one doesn't. (no "features from the future")

For 84, you need a 84-92 (hyd) V8 BH. 82-83 (mech) will not work.
