i have a 5 speed manual trans and its making a thumping noise. it does not make the noise all the time. it happens ever once and a while but now is starting to get bad. when i let out the clutch the noise slows as the engine does. i'm thinking it is the throw out bearing but i am not sure. any imput would be great. thanks alot
