Clutch tamer to run in the 10's with T56?

I recently got my car to the track and the best 60' is a 1.61 dumping the clutch at 5850 rpms on a 2 step which netted a 11.39@123(third pass). It dead hooks surprisingly but it bogs down pretty hard. First pass in the car it went 11.64@122 on a 1.84 60' riding the clutch from around 3500-4k. I then wired up the 2-step and set it to 5k, ran a 11.63 @122 1.71 60' and the bog was real bad so I raised up the 2-step to 5850. Ive heard of these clutch tamers http://clutchtamer.com/ really helping slip the clutch just enough to cure the bog. Anyone ever tried them? The weather was good at the track the 2x I went DA was around -500 and -200, but ive been at Atco dragway when its been around -2000. Next season ill add a vacuum pump and maybe the clutch tamer because I really need to get the 60' into the low 1.5's to hopefully run a 10.9 in the 1/4. Any questions or comments on the setup Im more than happy to answer. Heres a video from the best run so far.

The ClutchTamer would do a great job for you, but if power adders are in your future the HitMaster Hydraulic system would be an even better choice. Either one can get your 60's down into the 1.4's. The HM can hit deeper in the sweet spot zone which allows it to 60' slightly better than the CT. The HM advantage for power adder cars is that it can get to full clutch clamp pressure much quicker than the CT, which allows power to come in earlier without blowing thru the clutch.

ClutchTamer users won every single event in the heads-up .400 tree NMRA Coyote Stock class this year. Used to be you to have a $2200 Black Magic clutch to be competitive in the class, now far less expensive clutches controlled by the 'Tamer are taking home the big checks. They typically run 10.10 @ 130 w/ 1.35 60' at 3100lbs using a single disc diaphragm clutch.

Here's some CT feedback from a new HM customer in Australia- "I have one of your clutch tamers (mechanical version) on another car that I have been racing for over a year… I absolutely love it, I have done 56 passes with zero breakages and have become very consistent….10.78 10.75 10.80 et’s and enjoying bracket racing again".

A guy in NY installed a HM on his C6 Corvette a month or so ago, ended up posting five 1.43 60's in a row during his first HM test session

Guess I'm getting older than dirt, but what does this clutch tamer thing do?

The ClutchTamer allows you to instantly release the clutch pedal to it's sweet spot, then slows the pedal's travel thru that narrow sweet spot zone. Basically allows you to ride the fine line between spinning/bogging with far more precision than anyone could ever achieve with their foot. Also makes it far easier to run radials behind a manual trans, a big deal for street/strip cars that also want to drive to/from the track without changing tires..
