Anywhere for 9 bolt gearsets other than Australia as of Jan/2020?

Im looking for a 3:08 gearset..... I do know Hawks is now selling a 3:70 gearset. I called and they said that is the only ratio they have and at this point are not planning on adding any other ratios. https://www.hawksmotorsports.com/cam...nd-pinion-set/

Re: Anywhere for 9 bolt gearsets other than Australia as of Jan/2020?

3.70 gears are available from a variety of suppliers but they are absolutely ALL coming from the same factory in China (edit - apparently it's Italy). Yukon, Motive, Hawks.... all the 3.70 gears are the same. Motive is usually the least expensive. Same part, different box.

Whatever factory makes them doesn't seem interested in making other ratios. I have the 370 in mine (Yukon flavor) and they seem fine but they whine.

Huh. Interesting. Perhaps they are all made in Italy. The Yukon one I bought didn't say other than references to Yukon being based in Everett, WA. Makes me feel a little better about it. They work fine. Though pretty much everyone agrees they whine under cruise and setup isn't to blame.

The whine is disconcerting. I picked up the 3.7 set because I didn't get the setup right on my used 3.45 set and I have whine at coast and decel. I was too busy/lazy to pull the rear again and re-do it since it was a pain. I got the 3.7's and I planned on getting the LSD you and KeyKey put in. I guess that will probably whine too.

Nice. Someone should contact the manufacturer and ask them about the possibility of other ratio's.

Lol. There's a reason there is only 1 ratio, there is no market for that ****.

Well I bought one and so did scooter. Must be a few more. I enjoy the hell out of it too. Really makes a big improvement over the 2.77 it came with. IDK seems like there's a market to me. I think a 3.42 and a 4.11 offering would likely be marketable.

I would probably buy another 3.45 if the opportunity arose, 4.1 is good too, I would rather have that then the 3.7
